Creative Expression

Creative expression as remembrance, truth, and Diasporic vision

Art is both witness and bridge—honoring ancestral memory while inspiring new possibilities throughout Africa’s Diaspora. As a practicing artist, collector, and cultural preservationist, I integrate visual art, exhibitions, interpretation, and storytelling into preservation and community work. Smalls Cultural Resources collaborates with museums, cultural centers, and institutions to present authentic representations of Gullah Geechee and African Diaspora experiences while uplifting artists as culture bearers, historic documentarians, and economic contributors. Through creative practice, art becomes a powerful tool for remembrance, healing, and collective vision across generations and geographies.
